Arches National Park I have been to Moab, Utah a handful of times in the last 3 years. We have found amazing places to camp, hike, bike and relax. Yet, I have never made it into Arches. I set my alarm to get up for sunrise at Delicate Arch. When day broke, it was cloudy and I found two other arches to explore as the sun rose over the mountains. I found myself at Windows and Turret Arches to watch what there was of a sunrise before continuing on my journey. There were not as many people here. I sat in the arch and thought about how incredibly blessed I was to be able to enjoy this experience as well as all of the opportunities in my life. I didn’t take the time to hike at all because I did have Nollie in the car and wasn’t about to leave her there while I was out hiking. Windows Arch and Turret were only about 1 mile off the parking lot, so she was fine at 6am to hang out and sleep for a little while! These arches were all very easy to access with stairs leading to each of them. This would be an easy stop to make with children. They would be able to hike and climb around this area easily. Just across the parking lot of Turret Arch is also Double Arch. This arch is easy to reach and just a quick walk off the road. The views from the Windows Arch was so breathtaking. It looked over the vast openness of the park onto other spires and then to the snow covered mountains in the backdrop.
